Josh is camping/hunting with his older bro tonight/tomorrow. (ugh.) So since I'm such a baby, I'm sleeping at my parents house tonight. I love how your 'home' home feels so much like home and all the good feelings that dwell here. I'm watching Batman with my mom and bro for the 3rd time now....it's ay okay!

oh monday monday

Exciting news. Josh has a full time job with Turner Construction when he gets out of school in August!! Thank the Lord! And that comes with a full time paycheck :) I'm so excited. All those years of college really do pay off. 

We finished decorating our place today with Christmas stuff! I'll post some pics. It's so cute. And smells so pineTASTIC! 

 We also went to Josh's work Christmas party at the Intercontinental. They spent like 6 figures on it. It was so sweet! Probably the sweetest party i'll ever get to go to! woo wooooo

OHHH .... my ultim​ate FAVOR​ITE band in the whole​ world​ is playi​ng this thurs​day.​ Veder​a.​ I have been waiti​ng month​s for them to come again​ and i'm soooo​ooo fired​ up! i could​ talk about​ this band forev​er.​ they used to be calle​d Veda.​ The lead gal is beaut​iful and has the most amazi​ng voice​ live.​ (​also works​ the cutes​t cloth​es too) i walke​d down the isle to a part of one of her songs​.​ i can play their​ cds for weeks​ and never​ get weary​ of it. josh taught me some the beginning of a song on the guitar but lord knows if i can remember it. hopef​ully their​ new cd will be avail​abe to purch​ase!​!​ AHH!​!​!​

Ok so the day after that last blog I felt so much better. (thanks Reva) Sometimes I really, really think I'm bipolar. haha. I finally finished my next project. It's my GA scarf for my mother in law for her Christmas present. It took me wayyyyy too long. But It's pretty pretty! :)

Halloween weekend.

Nothing too exciting. We ate at a new pizza joint called Diesel pizza. Then we went to Publix to get smoothie ingredients. While at the check out lane the lady mumbled something towards me. I go "excuse me?" Then she goes on to tell me how much I look like Paris Hilton, and she thought that I was dressing up for her since it was Halloween. I kinda just laughed it off because that wasn't someone who I would like to be compared to. hahaha. 

We didnt get any tick or treater's. Which I figured. 

Josh and I are voting tomorrow. I'm excited- I'm gonna be a first timer :)

oh saturday.

Today was a good one.

This morning we went to the temple. It was Josh's first time and my first time in a LONG time. The whole day I felt so firm in everything that I am doing and everything that I am believing in. I am so thankful for a merciful and loving Savior.

I also have started a few new hobbies. I've been biking for several months now. It's such a great workout and I live really close to a super fun park. Josh is taking it pretty seriously and started training for triathlons.  AND I just started knitting.......i know. It sounds grannyish and it looks grannyish. But its a lot of fun. I have already made one scarf. Hopefully soon I'll be making blankets.  

My nights are restless. For some reason right when we get ready to go to bed to sleeep....I get super excited and squirmy and hyper. Don't know why...don't know how. So I just lay there for 30 min to an hour. Wishing I could be snoozing like my man beside me. Pray I can sleep! 

So I am a nursery leader at church. And I so love it. All those little ones are so precious and so funny. Everyone keeps telling me that it makes a good birth control...but it just makes me more eager...bahhaha. 

ANDDDDDDDDDDDDD we are getting a kitten! I'll post pics soon. He is the cutest little ball of orange fur i've ever seen!!!!!! EEEE!!!! 

Labor Day picnic.

Daddy and I went to the river and had a cute little picnic on the dock. We were celebrating our 6 month anniversary and also it was last Sept. 1st that he proposed to me too! :) 

We decided to feed some ducks. Then flocks and flocks flew to our little party. So we had a big scene. it was so funny. Then we went to the new AMC and saw Tropic Thunder. It was pretty funny. Another good one is What Happens in Vegas. We have been watching it a millions times. It comes on this free movie channel we get like two times a day.

While sitting next to me with a headset on his head, a controller in his hand, and gears of war on the tv,  these are the words coming out of my husbands mouth as he plays with like 8 guys online:  "AHH"...... in a very loud voice. and you can imagine what a whole hour is like sitting next to him on this squishy couch of ours. nice. i find it amusing anyway. 

well i know people love pictures...so i'll post some cute pics up from this weekend. (our birthday weekend) And the precious little girl...she is my niece! Thought i would show her off, considering josh and i have no babies to show off yet :) 

OH and i got my first body massage yesterday. im just a little sore today.  but it was heavenly!!!! anyway....
